About the Workshop
May 19-20 2025: Rose Fairy Workshop, an offline event held in Landgoed Het Laer, located in Ommen, the Netherlands.
Let’s celebrate the beauty of spring by crafting a 30 cm Rose Fairy doll.
This two-day workshop is designed for easy to intermediate skill levels, so whether you’re a complete beginner or have some crafting experience, you’ll enjoy creating your very own fairy companion.
What You’ll Learn:
- Crafting and shaping the doll’s felt head and face
- Embroidering sweet, expressive eyes
- Filling and stitching the doll’s limbs and body
- Crocheting a wig
Outfit Creation & Bonus Tutorials:
Each participant will have the opportunity to create an outfit for their doll, along with some charming accessories, following detailed video tutorials before the workshop. Bag Kit is purchased separately.
Bonus: Before we meet at the workshop, you’ll have the chance to get a head start by making some delightful accessories for your Rose Fairy. The video tutorials will guide you through:
- Making her lovely dress and pinafore
- Embroider a little rose on her pinafore
- Sewing bloomers
- Felt her hat and flower
- Creating the original carrying case
If you find the outfit-making process challenging, you can purchase the outfit and accessories during the workshop.
Workshop Price: 380 euros. Include materials to make the doll, the kit to create the outfit, patterns, and video tutorials. The shipping expenses of the kit are covered by participants.

A €70 deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due at the workshop.
