Philippe is 6.3″ (16 cm) tall without the ears and was born in 20+ hours of hand-stitching inspiration by my fellow toy-maker sister Alma (check out her Instagram – LoveSewn).

The little fella is wearing a cotton shirt and pants, both with lining. And a knitted hat and scarf to keep warm. Our darling bunny also has shoes, made by hand to fit his little feet. Finally, Philippe also has a mask, made of papier-mâché using an old-school technique.

He is attentively made of German cotton viscose, while his body is firmly filled using a vintage technique with cedar wood shavings, sawdust and love.

The bunny can turn his head and move his arms and legs because they are firmly attached to the body with discs and cotter pins.

Eyes are a window to the soul as they say, and as usual I have put in a lot of time, effort and attention into creating the look and the facial expression of darling Philippe, to try and convey his personality and inner world.

As a present, he comes with a little polar bear brooch!
