Join us for a two-day dollmaking workshop at European Waldorf Doll Retreat 2025 in Ommen, the Netherlands!
On May 21-22, 2025, we will be creating a 12″ doll, little Pelle, inspired by Daniela Drescher’s book Pippa and Pelle. The event will be held in Landgoed Het Laer, located in Ommen, the Netherlands.
Over two days, you’ll learn to:
- Craft his head and shape his face
- Embroider his eyes
- Make his wig
- Fill his body and limbs
- Stitch everything together to bring Pelle to life
Bonus: Before we meet at the workshop, you’ll have the chance to get a head start by making a few charming accessories for Pellr! Follow along with the video tutorials to:
- Sew his body
- Knit his fairisle sweeter
- Sew his pants
- Knit tiny socks
- Knit warm red gloves
- Sew his felted jacket and hat
- Sew his blue dotted scarf
- Felt shoes
- Make the original carrying case
Workshop Price: 380 euros. It includes materials to make the doll, the kit to create the outfit, patterns and video tutorials. Shipping expenses of the kit are covered by the participants. You can order the ready bag (please contact me). To order suede shoes please contact me.
